Dhurba Budhathoki wins the Manhunt International Nepal 2017

Manhunt International Nepal is a well-renowned annual competition that seeks to find the most attractive, charismatic, and talented men in the country. The auditions for the 2017 edition of the contest took place on the November 25 at the International Club in Sanepa. The competition garnered 16 candidates to battle for the distinguished title.

The grand finale was held at Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu on the evening of the 29th of December. The event was broadcasted live on Kantipuer HD and was hosted by Samriddhi Rai and Sanjay Gupta. In the competition, Dhurba Budhathoki – at 23 years old and standing 5’11” – emerged champion. In his wake were Prakash Shah and Sajid Alam, who took home second and third place respectively.
But Dhurba didn’t just win the grand prize. He also snagged the awards for two minor categories, Mr. Physique and Mr. Talent. Different sub-award winnings were also distributed among the other participants. The Most Stylish category was claimed by Prakash Shah while Mr. Photogenic Smile was snagged by Saroj Shrestha. Meanwhile, Mr. Friendship was given to Sudip Osti and both Mr. Popular and Mr. Personality were awarded to Sudip Pathak.

This is far from Dhurba’s first content of this variety. Other notable achievements Dhurba obtained in 2017 include winning first runner-up in June’s Mr. Nepal pageant and representing Nepal in the Man of the Year 2017 contest, which was held in Indonesia back in August. Thanks to his success in Manhunt International Nepal, Dhurba will go on to compete for his country again in Manhunt International this year.
